This was a ground up new build in the spirit of the gorgeous, 1920 Georgian colonial revival houses from the golden era of classic American architecture. This house was used for a Ralph Lauren photo shoot a number of years ago. The story goes that not long after completion, Ralph Lauren was driving past the house, since he effectively lives in the “neighborhood” of this Bedford, NY home, and he himself reached out to the owner to use the house as a backdrop for a fashion shoot.
